I have one of these that is new, package was badly deteriorated so it's now loose but complete. Belonged to my uncle, selling it for my aunt. I have no idea what it's used for, maybe some of the radio guys in here know or might need one. Anyway, $20 and it's yours. Specs: MWB-5803. Mobile Antenna, 150-174MHz, bandwidth 18 MHz, 3dB, 200W. Picture of it here: http://www.epcom.net/Products/antennas- ... maxrad.htm |

It looks like it falls in between but not in the 1.25m and 2m Ham bands and is far from CB 11m?. Looks like it is for Emergency services radios. http://www.arrl.org/FandES/field/regula ... _color.pdf |

This antenna is for a VHF radio and is used for commercial use. Any one operating in this range has to be licensed to use it. |

Knowing my uncle, it likely had to do with something with the BLM. |
