I went to the j/y and bought Lebaron vents once installed they look almost factory> The whole install cost me about 12 bucks and 1 1/2 hrs.

how do these things work?

is there a danger if getting water in your engine (especially if you have the older 99 TJ distributor?)...I mean, whenever it DOES rain?

The only way you are going to get a significant amount of water thru them is if you decide to use the jeep as a "submarine"

Take a look at the ones on Darrells jeep or mine, next time you are in. Your spare wheel is here by the way.
