 Post subject: Logandale Trails Updates

A Barrier Cable has been errected at the entrance to the box canyon where we normaly stop for lunch. It starts at the first set of glyphs and extends across the road to block both paths. The canyon is a very short walk from the barrier so all is not lost.
Even though we stoped for trash there is plenty more out there.

It is a single cable suspended about waist high. Heavy enough to stop a 4x4.

the fence "cable" was put up to keep all vehicles away from the rock art.

what gets me...is these groups put that stuff up with

No Notice
No Enviro Impact Study
NO concern for Handicapped who might have enjoyed a closer view.

Did the BLM install the fence?
If they did, they would have had to do a EIS and a NEPA review.
This is required on all federal lands?

some group to save logandale Indian art part of U.N.L.V.
