most informative day

i will be posting up some direct links for mapping
on the sincity4x4.org site (waiting on links / permission)

we will be asking for volunteers to help monitor the trails

We need to get involved as a 4x4 community to help protect out trails

more info later

Today was just as good as the first......

main thing i came away from the 2 days of meetings...
If you enjoy the Forrest....Get Involved!

Things we can help do..

help put up signs
trail maintenance days
monitor the area
keep them informed of trail damage ect..

I invited the Forrest Service to join up on www.sincity4x4.org

they were invited to go on the trails with us
they need to learn what we need what is missing...
most important they need to know what trails conditions are
from a "user" point of view...not from the desk.

This will give us all a chance to meet.

more info as it comes time to organize a work party`s or trail runs

thanks
mac

Mac

You brought up a good point about inviting the Forest Service out on the trails.
This is a good idea, and works. Especially if these trails are hard enough that they can not get their work trucks all the way through.

This lets them see the whole trail, and the trail leader, or who they are riding with can take notes about what the Forest Service things needs to be repaired, or will have to be repaired in the near future.
