I think he did a good writeup of how we are loosing trails.
I posted a comment about it, and then copied the article over on the UFWDA land use section.
I recommend everyone also post a comment on the page about the abuse by the BLM, and the loss of local trails.

What are the odds that the Sierra Club BLM would actually enforce the ban on bicycles?

Also now that the BLM has taken the public out of the public lands they are responsible for the dust from these areas. Unless they will be patrolling on horseack which is unlikely. Use the dust ordinance against them now. :twisted: Any excuse they can come up with to operate their trucks can be applied to ours. :twisted:

Soon we will find ourselves confined to small reservations like Las Vegas dunes. Untill they decide that too is a wilderness.

best they patrol on FOOT!
a horse can stir up lots of dust.

And their feed (hay) can introduce noxious weeds to the fragile environment. Not to mention, the large amounts of animal waste left behind.

Yep, the BLM better invest in really good hiking boots and camelbacks.
