If anyone is interested, Vegas Valley 4 Wheelers is have a run at the Nellis Dunes. this is going to be a Toys for Tots run. As of right now, I probably won't do the run, but I am considering joining in for the run down the Boulevard to Ted Weins. 8)

You can find more info at

Please keep in mind that participation is at will. You would be going as individuals and not as a representative of the club.

The only thing I could find out was to meet at the exit for Nellis Dunes. To me, it looks like there are several ways in + out. :? If we can find out where they are coming out at, we could wait at Speedway Blvd and the Blvd and wait for everyone to pass. If people want, we can meet right at the Blvd and I-15. 8)

:D Well guys,,, it turned out to be a really neat run... This place is awsome,,, and I intend to come back here to explore some more... I wish that you all could have made it... Of course I couldn't do some of the hard stuff,, but it was sure fun watching the "big guys" make it happen... Allan,,, if I was as tall as you,,, I would have done them all... I did have a blast getting lost in the 'dunes' and trying to find my way back to the group... You know that I like the sand !!!! Check out my pix... I hope that more will post up.... Phil

Al,, glad you like the pix... To answer your question :" How come there were no pictures of you and your XJ goion up the waterfall!! That was wild."
Because I was DRIVING !!!!!!!!!
NOT !!!!! There's no way that my little XJ could have made that ~~~
I think that you would have made the small one easy... The one where the long wheel Toyota got hung up.... It was about 3 1/2 ft. high... The big one was at least 6 ft. It might be worth a fun run for the club,,, just to play for a few hours...

The only problem is that there are so many trails and other vehicles around,,, it's easy to get lost... You have to climb up on a hill and find the Stratosphere Tower or the Freeway to get an idea where you are !!! You can find a wide variaty of fun stuff to do.... But I see no way to organize it into a run... You kind of have to splinter off into small groups and go explore... It's weird,, but fun.... Phil

Yeah, I was just messing with you. Although, you'd be surprised what your little XJ can climb with the right spotters. :D
