As a member of the local off roading community it made me proud to see how many people turned out for this worthy cause. It was a great run and we the weather was decent. There were 40+ vehicles on the dunes and lots more that showed up later and dropped off toys. For this being Liz and mine first Toys for Tots run we were very impressed with the groups that turned out besides the VV4W and by all the toys that were collected. The trail was fun and quite challenging but it always saddens me greatly when I see all the trash out at Nellis dunes. There was even a group of bikers burning tires. I have no idea why. Perhaps if we could get every every off group in the valley and about 20 drop boxes and we could put a dent in it.

Next year Liz and I will ask our co-workers to add their support of our attendance of the Toys for Tots run and we'll have lots more toys to add to the pile. I'd love to see next years event include our whole group cruising the strip to from Tropicana to Ted Weins with some "Toys for Tots" banners and get some attention and positive press.
