On 4/25/09, the Bass Pro Shops and the Land Rover Club of Las Vegas are having the Off-road and Camping Expo '09 show. Many activies are planed, even a dutch oven cookoff. There will also be a BBQ.

Details can be found at http://www.lrclv.com/Expo09.aspx

If anyone is interested in helping to set up a table to promote the Club, let me know.

Anyone else going??? if you are, you need to register soon. http://www.lrclv.com/Expo09.aspx

I plan on setting up a table to promote the Club. And as a favor to Geno and Todd, I will have some stuff for UFWDA, if they hurry up and send it to me. Any help would be appreciated.

There will be a vehicle show. Bring your Jeep and show it off. There are also a lot of other things that are planned. Come on out and meet other clubs, pick up some specials from Bass Pro, or even just to have some fun and BBQ. Should be a good time.

My son and I will be stopping by on the way home from San Diego. Won't have the Jeep though. Wife is making us take her car. Looks like it will be a good time.

Hey Bob, what do you need in the way of help? I'm thinking of participating in the showing of my Jeep, so I'll be there, but I don't want to be tied up all day. If you need help setting up and possibly tearing down, I think I can help you with that. Let me know. Email me the details, when & where to meet, and I'll be there!!!

I just registered to participate!!! So, I'm there, Bob!!!

Wasn't Sportsman's Warehouse having that before they went out of business? I was planning on it until they started clearing out the stores, so I changed plans.

I'll be heading to "The Hammers" for the Tin Benders Jambo '09 that weekend!

This is a Bass Pro Shops at the Silverton Casino, who is putting on this event...not Sportsman's Warehouse. I think you're getting the two confused. :)

Have fun at The Hammers!!! Keep it rubber side down!!!

Haha...I'll be a spectator there for the most part...might try a 3 with all the spotters and rescue gear out there.

And I have a flier hanging on my desk right now looking at it:

Off-Road and Camping Expo '09
April 25th
Free BBQ
Grand Prize '96 Land Rover Discovery
Sportsman's Warehouse, Henderson, NV

I'm guessing the Rover guys just switched venues.

Anyway, sorry I'm gonna miss it. The other event might save me a few hundred dollars in stuff I would buy at Bass Pro! :)

Chris is right. Sportsmans was originally putting this on. But, sadly they went belly up. LRCLV talked Bass Pro into hosting this event. Same date and time only in a different place.

That's the same day as "Earth Expo" or whatever it's called.. The "Green" thing at Wal-Mart.. I'm going to see that and 'shread' about a ton of old papers and checks and reciepts from the last 20 years !!!! Then I'll stop by.. My Jeep isn't much worth putting on 'display'.. It's just a beater you know... At any rate,, I'll stop by for a while... Phil

Nah, we got it muddy at the end of Bitter Spring and decided to leave it for the expo to show off real offroaders. :P
Sad part is the mud came from north shore road and not the trail. :?
