I am planning a trip to Calico with the 4x4 Freelanders to play on Doran & Odessa canyons.

This run rates at least a 3.5+. Lift and bigger tires are mandatory. Lockers are recommended but not required. Skid plates are also mandatory. This run is harder than most that we do. Body damage or breakage is a possibility. Vehicles that are not up to requirements WILL be turned away.

Meeting time & place: Meet by 8:30am @ Calico campground. Roll @ 8:45am

For those that might want to stay overnight.

http://www.calicotown.com/

If interested or for more info, E-mail me or call 453-2358 (early evenings).

Calico is about 11 miles before you get to Barstow. About 2.5-3 hours.

I know, I can't take my jeep. But are there any seats?

Shirley's going for the weekend, but she's not going on the run. Would you like to do your "Mrs. Trail Boss" impersonation again?

Updated original post to include meeting time and place.

Anyone else besides Paul and Tom thinking of going?

From what I have heard, there should be 3 vehicles from here and at least 6 from the Freelanders going. Runs with the Freelanders are always a good time. This one should be no exception.

Any other takers???
