THANK YOU........to ALL that participated the BLM staff
was amazed at how well we worked together and go so much done.
we filled 3 super large trash containers in 3 hrs.
the "Mog Crew " (Joe & Tammy) dragged back 2 burned cars

over 300 tires were taken out of the Dunes!!

the trash bins were to full.....to accept more tires.
those were placed on the side to be picked up Monday

I will post pics later...some did not turn out as my lens cover did not open

if you have pics.
Please email to me :

macs4x4products@gmail.com

I am putting together a power point program for the BLM
and will give it to them next week.

THANKS!!!!
mac

I wish I could of been there. Unfortunately, I didn't get home from Palm Springs until this afternoon.

Any chance of getting someone to do a write-up for the newsletter.

We got there a liitle late (around 930am), but I did get 3 full hours out of my kids before they gave out on me.
We have been using that area for about 8 years now and that was the first official cleanup action I have heard of or been involved in out there. It felt really good to give a little something back. I'm glad BLM was happy with the turn out and your last convoy of jeeps rolling in with all those tires in tow was a sight to see.

:P "Mac, your jeep is getting shorter!"
What a day!
I would be willing to do that every 6 months even if we get the Mormon Well trails adopted. Spring and fall of course. 8)

Afterward three of us followed the BLM's directions and traved dirt from the dunes all the way to the Moapa smoke shop. Further exploration will help us tie that into the Old Morman Trail all the way into the Bowl or Bitter Spring trails bypassing the smoke shop. He said it was possible to go all the way to Logandale on dirt. :o Time to dust off the maps and GPS again  May have to take a tuesday off

Wonder how long it would take to run Bitter Springs or the bowl starting at Apex  Thats a lot of dirt
