I haven't been up there for a few years, probably around '03? We had some extended family that had a cabin at the base of the mountain and we used to go there riding horses and atv's as a kid.


It's a very nice run, was doable in a 2WD high clearance then. There's some kind of out post station at the top, so I think thy try to keep the road passable. Dennis might have a better idea if he's been up there recently.

There's a road that takes you from the Mt. Wilson rd. over the backside and you can go north to the Atlanta mine or back south into Eagle Valley (Spring Valley S.P.) if you're adventurous.
