http://www.met.utah.edu/mesowest/ Click on the state of Nevada (or any other state). Nevada is broken into 3 sections. A Google Map of Nevada will load that you can scroll around on. Put the "hand" icon on the number dots (major towns) to give you a pop up of latest weather. Click the dot to load a window with more detailed info. Here's the direct link, though it may not always work: http://www.met.utah.edu/cgi-bin/droman/ ... rawsflag=3 Now the cool part: When in the state map mode, across the top you'll see two drop down menus labeled "Region" and "Product". Region is your state, product is what you want to see. In the "Product" drop down menu, click "station locations". You'll get a map of Nevada with numerous little red plus signs showing stations sites. By scrolling over the sign, you get the station name and location id. By clicking it, you get the weather info (last hour) on the right side of the page. By using the info on the right, you can then see the 24 hour averages and conditions. By clicking the name of the station, you get directed to a topo map at Topozone.com. These are the weather stations you see while out and about in the back country. Also the local ones used by local TV weathermen that are at schools, business, gov. buildings, etc. If you are going to an area that you want to get more specific weather info on, this is the best way. You can't get forecasts, but at least you can get a good idea of what it's like before you get there. You also see that Reno/Tahoe, Las Vegas and the Test Site have numerous stations.
