Post subject:  Alignment shop recommendations after lift for 2005 4runner

Hello all!

I'm looking for recommendations for an alignment shop for my 2005 4Runner. I'm adding a 3-inch lift sometime in the next month or so, and would need an alignment afterward. I'd like to know who you guys trust. I don't own a tow vehicle, and would like to drive it (slowly) to the shop, so closer is better. However, I'll gladly listen to all recommendations. I live very close to the corner of Eastern and St. Rose (close to St. Rose hospital).

If you want details, it's the lift available from Overlandwarehouse.com. I'm also installing Light Racing upper control arms at the same time, to provide more alignment flexibility.

Thanks in advance!

-Dan

It's not close, but the Ted Weins on Oakey (near LVBLVD) is a 4x4 specialty store, and they can do alignments. Ask for Darrell.

IMO stay away from the Bruce Scherr (sp?) Goodyear stores.

Unless you like your tie rod coming loose while driving down the highway and fighting with them to fix it after they claim it wasn't their fault, only to have them screw it up again. Then by all means go there

Usually you can string the tires and use a tape measure to get the toe close enough to drive it to a repair shop comfortably.

George's Alignment is good! I was referred to them through a friend and I just took my Jeep w/35's there. They did a good job! I can't complain.

Their number is 876-1299 and they are on Mead dr. Mead is off of Valley View just north of Nevada Off Road Buggy.
