These are locks that you can set with a Jeep key (ie your ignition key) then only that key will ever work.

Anyone seen or used these?

I saw these on another site, I don’t know how secure these might be, and they are about $30 (wow, maybe the price will come down).

it's a good idea for someone that doesn' like having a bunch of keys for stuff. but as i see it if someone gets the key to your vehicle he now has a key to all your stuff. i'll pass

it's funny....my mom has a Honda Prelude and lost the key (it had already been re-programmed by the original owner who lost everything, and my sister who owned the car before mom)


she had them re-do the trunk since it wouldn't open with the key fob.


now my mom has THREE keys to operate one vehicle.
