long story short, I had to give back the lifted 06 wrangler x I bought because integrity could not finance me for some reason even though my credit is good... SOOO, I found an 06 rubicon that is stock (and in much better condition I might add) for about the same price at carmax and got financed no problem.

so now I gotta lift it and get some bigger tires. I am planning on getting (in the next few days) the new rough country "x" flex 4" kit which ive seen nothing but good reviews of, and I was wondering if anyone could help me install it. Im a noob when it comes to suspension, but I will supply pizza and beer 8) I have some hand tools, but no air tools though :(

here is a link to the kit so you know what we would be getting into lol:

thanks

How soon you planning on doing the lift? I may be freed up after Easter Jeep Safari...after April 12th.

That's like getting a rental for free for the month and wheelin' it. Wish I could do that when I take my mid-tour back to the states from Korea.

May need a spring compressor but looks like everything else is regular hand tools.
Let us know when ready to start.
We bought our 00 sport at carmax in 04 after the run around elsewhere. we will likely be going back for a car.

I basically liked Carmax, and went there to look for Jeeps, but the sales people couldn't tell me anything about the one I was looking at specifically. didn't even know how to look it up. so I found mine for 5 grand cheaper than Carmax....

I don't mind the no-haggle thing, but it makes the prices too high, I think.

[/end thread jack]

hehe yep, got my deposit back and everything! sucked having to take out and reinstall my CB radio though... I even bought and installed the JKS quicker discos (awesome btw), and will reinstall them once the lift is on this jeep.
