Post subject:  Help ID my suspension and/or give advice

I need to do some work to the suspension on our new ZJ.
I need to identify what brand the lift is so I can try and order some parts for it.

I’m told it is a “Rock Crawler” but can’t find anything that looks like it on their web site.
If anyone can tell what brand it is from the pics, or has an idea on where I can get parts (johnny joints for third link) for it please let me know.

Here are pics of the front:

Pics of the rear: (needs some work)

The upper (third link) arm on the rear doesn’t look like it is for this truck. I have some ideas on how to align it better for now, and am working on thoughts to modify it or replace it for a permanent fix. If you have any input on this as well I would like to hear it.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike im almost 100% sure that set up you have there is by 'ROCK KRAWLER' it appears to be the LONG ARM version (radius arm up front) and cradle for the rear bolt on type into the diff cover and u bolts to the axle housing, they offered this in two versions weld or bolt on.....I have the
X-FACTOR version rear cradle welded on,That johnny joint looks familiar to me in the picture,I have broken one in the past....to much flexing causes them to bind against the control arm mounts....( as seen on your last set of pictures) remedy..... limiting straps....unfortunatly ROCK KRAWLER stop making these for the ZJ"s
HOWEVER.....they still use the same johnny joints on some of there current set-ups for other jeeps.....I just called and asked for tech. support and they sent me 4 new johnny joints shipped for FREE.... :D http://www.rockkrawler.com/ Good luck!!

Thanks Allan,
(we missed you a couple weeks ago).
I have limiting straps. I tweaked and aligned things a bit better yesterday.

The rear frame mounts seam to be too far apart (upper arm too narrow) creating the bind like you see in the picture.
I need to work on it some more yet. I will contact ROCK KRAWLER, and see if they have any suggestions, and will send me some Johnny Joints.

If I ever see your ZJ again (3 4x4s :) ) I will look under neath.
If by chance you are laying under it send me some pics if you can of the upper rear arm and mounts.

Thanks,
Mike
