Ed Moore helped me on Sat install my new flat fenders. These things were not too bad to install, but the directions were a little off on what and were to cut.

Here are some pics from the install.
With the flairs removed.

Ed cutting, and no going back.

I think we need to remove this!
Image Yes we did need to remove that, and cut the rock sliders some also.

Cut here!

This is the battery mount support. We had to cut part of this off to allow the inner fender well to be pushed back.
Image This was not in the directions.

Final pop rivets to keep things from rattling.

need to get the light kit from Genright so I have better blinkers and running lights up front now.

But they look good.

Looking good, Todd!! What brand Flat Fenders are they?? And what was the cost? (if you don't mind me asking) Were you going to paint them to match your Jeep or are you going to leave them black for now?

Just wondering for maybe a future project.

Joe

These are the Gen-Right flat fenders.
After tax and shipping, they were 680 out the door of my local 4x4 shop here.

They took about 6 hours to install.
for the present time, I am going to leave them black.
Later I might try and paint them silver to match the jeep though.

I can write a install article if you would like, along with the pics I took, and send it too you for MoabJeeper?

We did have a few things to change that were not in the instructions.

I thought they might have been the Gen-Rights only because you made reference to the light kit...LOL Cool!! Yeah, if you want to write an article and send it to me with pics, I'll get it posted on the Moabjeeper website. Make sure you send the things that you changed and difficulties if any, etc, so this way we can let Gen-Right know and maybe they can better whatever needs be, to better their product.

That would be awesome!! Send it to jeepinjoe@moabjeeper.com when you get it put together. I use Microsoft Office Word 2007 and it will work for the older version if you don't have the newer one.

Yea, they let us do that much, as we contribute to the dust problem caused by the farmers here.

We were even allowed to have a fire in the fire place later in the day.

Joe

I will get the article done, and sent off to you by the end of next week.
I have other things on my plate for this week, and next.
