That's great news Bob !! A lift and a transmission jack will make this job a 2 hour project ! I've changed tranys in that amout of time (way back when) at Pep Boys as a service manager.. Much easier and safer than the driveway job... Well,, maybe a 3 hour job with the transfer case and extra drive shaft... Whatever,, who cares,, I'll be there to do whatever I can do.. I feel the need to "turn some wrenches" !!! Phil

Bob,, sorry I misjudged the time thing for this project !! What a great 'work force' showed up !! Ed, John, Tim, Jed, Justin & you !! I was just there as 'photographer-assistant'.. Sorry I couldn't have done more, but there was so little room under there.. Thanks Deven for the use of the shop & lift.. It was fun to watch..

Check out the photos & vids.

Maybe Deven will find the starter bolts... Enjoy Phil

A big THANKS goes out to all that helped. Ed, John, Tim, Phil, Jed, Justin & Angie and to Deven for letting us make a mess in his shop. :D Yes, it did take longer than planned. But considering none of us had ever had to pull a trans out of a Jeep, I think it went very well. And yes the Jeep made it back home just fine.
