Today I did 1st mod on the FJ in 6 months, I took the Bandi antenna mount that I was using for CB antenna & modified it to fit UHF connector type Tri band for 2m, 220, & 440 - http://www.rfparts.com/diamond/cr320a.html For now will run my TH-F6A on it till I sort out how to fit/install/run VHF/UHF/HF mobile in the FJ. I know antenna would work better on the roof but didn't want to drill holes yet ;)

If you want to go NMO mount, I have an Antenex hole saw and a clean (never been through Conduit, just car headliners) fish tape.

Plus, an NMO trunk lip mount that's never been on a car, but I'll need Diet Soda for that.
