To all you fender flare people. I put new flares on my Jeep this weekend, and this is not as easy as you might think. I suggest you get started early. It took me all day to remove the old ones and put the new ones on. Yes I did this by myself and you will have help, but it still might take awhile to do 2 or 3 sets.

It will take time to install the fender flares, but there will be at least two different crews working at the same time. Tom and I will be working on his Jeep and least Ed and Justin will be working on Beth's Jeep. With any luck, we might get both done by noon. John

:D Trust me Dave,,, I've seen these 'crews' in action !!! It's like a well orchastrated ballet,, or a top notch NASCAR pit crew... :o Well,, in reality,, maybe a great episode of "The Keystone Cops" or at worst a comedy of errors !!! But in there defense,, I must say that the job at hand always gets done right ... Under the watchful eye of Master Mechanic, 'Captain Ed Beaumount' the crews accomplish there assigned tasks with amazing agility and (as an added bonus) have a great time doing so !!! I'm reporting this in the 1st person,, as I've personally turned a few wrenches with them !!! Come on over and enjoy the specticle and the comrodary... A great time will be had by all in attendance !!!! See ya there !!! Phil 8)

There should be enough people there to get the flares put on quickly. Then off to TWF for lunch and play on the RTI ramp. And for those not working at Hump & Bump this year, you can register to go.

While I won't be attending the work party I do have some extra parts from when I lifted my Rubi that I can donate to anyone who might want them. Springs, shocks, control arms and a steering stabilizer oh, and some stock size JKS sway bar disco's that need the support pins for when they are off since the ones I had installed fell off. Let me know and I'll try to get them to you when I get back in town or pm/email me

I have some beefy rock sliders I need to install, so I guess I'll just bring 'em here.

Ed, do have a floor jack?

I've never installed anything like these before, and I'm not real good with a drill.

Well there will be a couple of ER nurses there. They might be able to find those lost keys.Image

Hey, I don't think anyone posted a time for the work party.
7:30? 8:00? Let me know. I can get there any time.

The BBQ at Ted Wiens is from 10-2. I would say the earlier the better.
