I'm excited to have finally made the time to post here. I have a stock 2009 4Runner SR5 Sport that I've been itchin' to take out on the backroads of NV. Total newbie when it comes to off-road vehicular excursions but not at all new to camping or love of wild places.

I live in Washoe County and will be keeping an eye out for the next scheduled Club Run. Hope to meet y'all on a Backroaders trip real soon!

Take it easy,
Toni

Haven't heard from anyone since I posted my intro several months ago. I hope the club is still active and that there might be some newbie-friendly runs in Northern NV in 2022. If so, I'll be there!

Hello Toni,
I am not an official officer of the club or anything but I can fill you in about the club. I have been a member for several years.
I am sorry to say that despite the name which might indicate we are all over the state, we are not. We are mostly in the Vegas Valley area. The club does one official ride per month except in December. We do a July trip up to Ely and meet with an associated club but other than that the trails we ride are in southern Nevada and we do day trips from Las Vegas.
We also have this website, but it is not heavily used. So many folks in the club know each other that word of mouth seems to get the monthly ride info dispersed. If you visited the area often you could join if you wanted. We are open to all with a 4 wheel drive and the desire to get out on the trails. I hope this info helps. Let us know if you are still interested.
