HI All,
My name is Pete and I live in NW Vegas. I recently bought a 04 Wrangler (Would post a picture, but for the life of me, I cant figure out how, copy/paste not working) to replace a Suzuki DR650 that I wrecked back in 09. (Long story that I will save for another time) I am anxious to get back to the “backcountry.” Looking forward to meeting you all and getting to see more of the back roads.
I am a teacher, so have lots of free time in the summer.

Pete

Hi Pete!

Sounds like we have a few things in common. I had a Suzuki Sidekick before my present jeep, and I'm a teacher too. Hope to see you on the trail!

Welcome to the board and look forward to meeting on a trail. As far as pics go use a pic hosting site then link them over. (photobucket etc.)

Also please review the topics in Club Information. We do not require every piece of equipment on your first run so come out and learn.

Lax Coach hunh? I played in college for a few years, would love to see if I can still use those funny sticks in my closet. Welcome to the board, hope to see you on a run soon. Don't worry too much about the equipment, a lot of us are willing to help you out with what you need. Better to just get dirty!

Travis

Travis,
Where did you play? I played club ball at UNM. And mens league teams from Seattle to Vegas. I havent played since my motorcycle accident, but can still throw and catch. Once I get back from Colorado, we will have to shack the dust off the old sticks.
I coach at Centennial H.S. and Leavitt M.S.

Looking forward to gettin out on the trail.

Pete

Pete,
I played Middie at Bethany College in West Virginia in... well... it was in the 80's anyway. After a stint in the Navy, I went back to college at Cal State Univ, Chico, and played D-stick and Goalie there. But that was about 15 years ago. I haven't really so much as thrown a ball in 5 years. But, I still have a couple of sticks.

Talk to you soon,

Travis

It's simple. However, you must have photos somewhere on the Internet to be able to do so, not just on your computer.

If you have an image online, just hit the "Img" button above the text box where you type in your posts, then insert the Internet address (URL - but I don't think you use the URL button to do this) where the image is located at. It's easy to find the URL of any image on the Internet by putting your cursor on the image, then right clicking your mouse to bring up a menu box. At the bottom you will find "Properties". Click there and you will find in the middle Address (URL). Slide your cursor over that while holding down your left mouse button to highlight the address, then select copy. Then inside the image tags that you get when hitting the "Img" button, then paste in your address and after you submit your post you will have your image visible.

For example, my rig. The text necessary to create the image would be:

[img]http://www.gbr.4wdtrips.net/4x4/images/horsethief07big.jpg[ /img]

(Note: I added a space in the last image tag between the left bracket and the slash mark to defeat the browser's attempt to interpret the image string as an image thus allowing the text necessary to show through instead of the image.)

Which will result in your image showing up:

Image

It might sound complicated and tedious, but it's not. With practice it's quickly accomplished. In fact, I don't even both with the Img button, just typing in the image tags () instead.
