Nevada Backroaders

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased my first Jeep and I plan on joining the Club on the May 15th run!!! I am new to the world of Jeeps but not the off road. I grew up racing dirt bikes and for the past few years I have been into quads and sand rails...mainly the sand dunes. However, I purchased the Jeep as it is more geared toward family and eventually I can take my kids with me! They are only 19 months and 1 month right now!

So a little detail about the Jeep I purchased...it is a 2004 Unlimited with the 5.5" Rubicon Express Long Arm kit, 35" Pro Comp Xterrain, Body Armor rear bumper/tire carrier, Currie HD tie rod kit...that is about it for now, as with all off road vehicles, I have a laundry list of stuff I want to do to it!!!

I can't wait to hit the trails with you guys!

Jason, welcome to our little corner of the world. This is a great family club, although we seem to be a disfunctional family a time. But hey, we put the FUN in disfunctional.

Sounds similar to our family. Rode the dunes on the bikes and quads until kids, now looking forward to something our entire family can get on the trail with together. Our kids are 6 and (almost) 3.

Nice Jeep! I'm going to see how our lifted Grand does on the trail rides and then work on convincing the family that we really need a 4 door Unlimited.
