I sold my jeep in 2008 so haven't been on here much, but plan on getting another one next year when my son turns 16. Give him my car and buy something I can beat on. In the meantime I just picked up a 2010 Tundra 4X4 so I might venture off-road as soon as I get some tires that will handle it. I don't think it will take me places my ZJ did just due to the size but I will be camping and off road again :D Yeahh

Hey Craig!! Well, at least you have a 4X4. You can always come out on a club run. I recently bought an 04 Grand Cherokee WJ (stock and staying that way)...took it out on March's Club Run and had a Grand time...LOL Miss wheelin' with you especially through Death Valley. You should try to make the Titus Club Run in April. It would be good to see you. Don't be such a stranger!!!

Just keeping it stock

I am looking forward to some off-road camping - After getting yelled at in Death Valley at the campground I don't think I will stay in a campground again. I got a friend with some land just outside Zion and plan on making a camping trip soon. I will let you know if you want to go. I want to camp out at Eureka Dunes - that play was awesome - too bad we didn't have more time to play there.
Hopefully next month I will have my lift kit and wheels/tires installed.

Brad - thanks for the birthday wishes but as you know after 30 you try and forget them all

Just thought I would upload a photo of my truck since I haven't been on any runs. Worried about the LWB on some of the trails. Already had to use my sliders and have caught the hitch on a few things- also a bit wider than my Jeep so the desert pinstripping is worse on a 2010 since its new :( . Other than that it seems to do great and lots of room for camping gear.

Nice looking truck, Craig!! With my growing family, I wish Jeep made a 7-8 passenger Grand Cherokee with solid front and rear axles. Wishful thinking, but I may have to look for something bigger like a Suburban.

Well one of the neighbors didn't like us setting up one of the late arrivals tent after quiet hours and I don't think they liked us up drinking at the campfire till who knows when. But we were gone before any rangers showed up in the morning. We had to get on the trail before it got too hot.
