Hi Everyone,

Bought my YJ not too long ago and have already started pouring money into my personal bottomless pit. :D I have been on a few trails (Wheeler Pass and Potato Ridge, thankfully with no issues) here in the valley with some other Jeep friends, but I am looking to make that group much larger. I'd like to get out there and learn a thing or two from so many of you experienced Jeepers. Hopefully I can make it to a few of your official and unofficial trips. See you all soon.

Also, I'm obviously still trying to gauge the the abilities of me and my Jeep, if any of you have a suggestions on where I can go, please feel free to do so.

welcome to the board. you are the type of off roader this club was created for so you'll fit right in. the best advice i think i can give you for now is "get seat time". by this i mean just drive the jeep off road, graded road or jeep trail, doesn't matter just get used to the jeep and how it handles things. then do some trips with us and ask questions, we love giving answers even if we're making stuff up. no really, ask questions and get an idea of what you want to progress to and go from there. my 94 yj is on a 2.5" lift with a 1" body lift on 32's and it capable of taking me just about anyplace i want to go and some places i don't wanna go. be sure to read the topics in the club info section to get an idea about how we do things and i hope you can hit the trail with us. 8)

Welcome, Burro wash out of Boulder City is a pretty good "2.5" trail (just my opinion). It's a washy road until the "4x4 Recommended" side. Gets a little rocky, interesting. Nothing your Jeep shouldn't be able to handle. It dumps you at the water, very nice place to hang out. My 2wd Ranger made it without help, but it did do amazing things for a locked 2wd lol

Welcome We hope to see you on the trail soon Electric Ave to Aztec wash is a favorite of ours. Very scenic, and if you run Eagle wash on your way in or out it is a nice challenge.
