Just wanted to drop in and say hi. We are the Rosenhan family. We are new to the site but not new to off roading. Looking forward to getting out and exploring the great outdoors with others of similar interest.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Sorry I didnt make the run this weekend but I only aquired my truck on thursday so I have a bit if checking out and tires before I hit the trails. ( previous owner thought a 4x4 Pathfinder was a performance car and put "H" rated tires on it. YUCK!!!) Anyway, I noticed there are no runs between christmas and newyears and that is admirable. I look forward to seeing everyone in Jan. Take care and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Although, there is not a scheduled Club Run in December, there might be a Fun Run that could happen at anytime.

Welcome to the board, RosenhanClan!!! How about some pics of your rig and some details when you get the chance. It's always nice hearing of people using their 4X4's for what they are made for. Wheelin'!! So you wheel a Pathfinder? Awesome!!! :D

As of yet, the only dirt that my rig has seen has been at the mine I work at. Its a long drive down a dirt road to get to it but I hope to change that really soon. Im looking forward to hearing about the Jan run. I hope its not too bad since I wont have the armor package by that time. Im still new to organized wheeling but I am really looking forward to the drive. My wife is looking at a jeep so we may be fighting over what we take when. Maybe we just take both...LOL

Yes. I work for Aggregate Industries. We own Southern Nevada Paving, Frehner Construction, Bardon Materials and Southern Nevada Ready Mix. I work in the Ready Mix end but I spend alot of time at the Sloan quarrey. I am also in the Navy Reserves. US Navy Seabees. I returned from my deployment to Iraq in June. My specialties include ZBlasting and Quarrey operations as well as Chemical, Biological and Radiological countermeasures. I am hoping to get on with the blasting crew at the quarrey but right now we subcontract that work out.

Nice Rig!! Any plans to modify it or are you keeping it basically stock?

Also, keep your eyes open for fun runs. There should be some between now and the January Club run. My mom will be in town on the 17th of December, so I will probably plan a run on the 20th. I know its a little close to Christmas, but a day in the dirt is fun, and a nice way to relax from all the hussle and bussle of the holiday season. I'll probably post it when the time gets nearer. I'll make sure its of club run material or at least stock friendly, so everyone can feel comfortable enough to go on it.

And if you get a Jeep, you'll probably take both vehicles. Especially if you both like to drive on the trails. LOL Sharing isn't much of an option...just ask Andy!!! He lost his Jeep to his wife... :P

Well there are always plans...but what actually happens, only time will tell. I plan on the armor package to cover the bottom end. I plan on the 2.5 lift for it and I plan on a Safari Rack for the roof. There is not much in the way of performance mods for this year. My wife is wanting the ARB snorkle kit although it will be more for l,ooks than for the water. (unless I want to traverse any of the roadways here in Vegas after a hard rain storm.) I would love to get out and hit a trail. My biggest problem is tires. I bought this Pathy used and whoever had it before me put high speed performance tires on it. I dont think they will fair well on the trails. Looking at some BFG's. but still recovering from the down payments on the truck. I have a GPS for the truck and I am also looking to install a CB radio. I have UHF handheld radios with my own private freqs for me and my spotter if I ever get that far. LOL If anyone has the interest in private comms drop me a line. I have about 20 mile range on these things. But for now. I am all stock.
