Hi, I saw a red jeep at the Henderson Multi gen. center about a month age with a Nevada Backroaders sticker on it. I finally got around to doing a search and found this great site.
I have a 07 wrangler unlimited with a 3" lift, 35s, and 5:13 gears. I'll be installing a CB next weekend.
I'm new to jeep'n but grew up in the desert back in the 80s riding motorcycles and driving a baja bug that I built.
Now that I am "grown up" I love to go out on the trails with my wife and two kids, 6 year old boy and 4 year old girl. Thanks to a four door Wrangler I am able to get back into the fun and include the entire family. They all love the low speed thrills of the trails.
I look forward to meeting everyone. We should be able to make the May run.
Is there anything special I should know or do before we just show up for the run?

Welcome to the Message Board. There'snothing special that I can think of. Sounds like you know Jeeps and the desert. Anything else can be found here under "Club Info".

See you on the trail soon.Maybe Saturday if your free.

CB and antenna are installed. Does anyone know where I can get the antenna tuned? Or is it better to buy a meter from radio shack and do it myself?

You can do it yourself if you would like, but I'm sure someone would be able to help you out before a run you show up for.
