Was referred over by one of the guys on jeepforum.com.

Just got my 1st Jeep (or 4x4 of any type, for that matter) last week.

'07 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara - Silver

I loooove this Jeep! My 3 year old son does too.

Doing my first mods this week...a little 2" RE BB and 33" tires. I'm not sure how "hooked" I'll get, so I'm taking small steps to begin.

Looking for nice easy novice trails and events to take my son with me.

Look forward to meeting you all! :)

Looks like you came to a good place to start. I've ran on a "fun run" and a official run with this group and had a good time both times. I'm sure you'll enjoy running with them also. The only thing bad about these Jeeps though is that they are so addictive.

Welcome to the message board. If you bought your Jeep less than a month ago and your already putting a lift on it, you have a case of Jeep-itis. From the looks of it, it is a real bad case. There is no recovery from it. Be prepared for a new way of life.

As Greg said, "You've come to the right place."

See ya on the trail soon. 8)

My Grand is going in tomarrow for her first surgery at maximum offroad hospital. The doctor assured me that she would be better than new. I used to think I needed help but now I know it's only money I need.

You're right...so hooked already!

I pulled the trigger today and placed the order for lift, rims and tires. Actually went with almost 35's (34.8 or so on the Nitto's).

Bought 18" rims too...

Everything scheduled for Friday...

Now I have to consider gears...and looking at bumpers already...

How long before I'm medically declared an addict?

You are already an addict. By the way there is no cure and no meds that will help with this addiction. 8)

Thanks for the welcome.

here's a pic after the lift and new rims/tires:

The 2" BB isn't really quite enough for good offroading, but I wanted to start basic and work my way up. Considering a 1" BL to help those rear fenders out just a little.

I might try to make this Sunday run. As long as its nothing too rugged...baby steps for me. :)

Ahh...I was looking at the wrong month on the calendar. Thanks.

And ya...I think a 2 is a good start for my first time out. I'll plan on being there.

if I don't have a CB, should I get a 2-way radio? And I'll have my 3 year old son with me. There are plenty of stops to let him out of the seat I would assume.

Several members carry spare radios if they are needed. I'm sure there will be one that you can borrow.

It's a very social group, lots of stops. You can probably have him worn out by the end of the day.
