Hello Backroaders
I'm Rob, an temporarily displaced jeeper. I'm in town for a construction project in Henderson. I'll be here till June +- so I'm going to bring the jeep out again next week. I had it out here last fall and did some exploring and went to the Hump & Bump. I'd really like go on your monthly runs.
You guys a have a great and informative site here. I've been trying to soak up all the trail info you have here, there's just too much. I think I'd like to join this club if you'll allow it. I can see myself coming out here even after my project is finished. Its not that far for some of the longer runs. Maybe plan a vacation around one.

Thanks
Rob

Rob,

Welcome! We've got members from all over. I'm from TX myself, so the drive out is quite a ways, but the trails and people out here more than make it worthwhile. Looking forward to seein' ya on the trail.

Frog

You know, I really like where I live and my wife might get upset if I don't come back home. :D I live just above North Fork, CA which is just south of Yosemite park. I also have a summer cabin at a place called Jones' Store at Beasore Meadows not to far from where I live.

Thanks for the welcomes, see ya on the trails soon.

4point, I know the area, my wife and myself have just moved to LV from Coarsegold (YLP) after 10 years there, but and the time I was not a jeep owner and wish I would have been with all that nice country up there to 4 wheel. Welcome and you will enjoy this club.

Cool, I live in Cascadel Woods. I've lived there for 18 years now, I love it.

Welcome! watch the fun run forum, we have more than the monthly club run going on most of the time. Club runs are restricted in difficulty (right trail boss?) and we have our club meetings right after lunch, we just ask for a $5 donation from non-members.
Fun runs are not restricted and are open to all who dare, just read the post for the run difficulty ratings and descriptions.

Club Runs cannot be rated more than a 2-2.5. That is until the trail leader decides to do some teaching of what NOT to do and the proper recovery techniques. Yes, that is still my story and I'm sticking to it.
