I do like the idea of stopping at the campground first thing in the morning and reserving spots, so that we have them for when we get back. Just in case it happens to be late before we get to camp.

Still waiting for a head count?

I'm still trying to get one of my friends to come along. Only problem is, his Jeep has been down for the last 4 weeks. He's still waiting for someone to finish fixing the steering column. If he gets it finished, he may tag along. I guess only time will tell. I think he's going to be stuck with "mall crawler" status for some time. :P

Sheila and I have been waiting to find out about work. She was supposed to work this weekend but we think we have it worked out. What days do you still have open for food? We will not be able to make the run on Friday but are going to try to make it up to Mesquite Springs to camp friday night.

Also, does anybody have a pickle fork (the tool used for seperating the swaybar from the links) that they could bring along? I got my quick disconnects in and figure I could put them in while we are camping. I also need a SWR meter, my CB antenna broke (again  ) I hope to have a new one by the trip.

I'd love to bring Lincoln, but I don't think he would be able to handle 3 days. I don't know if we'll have any cell phone coverage at the campground, but you can always try giving us a call when you are on your way so you know where we're at.

I don't know what Craig has in store for us after the club run. Maybe we'll just go back to the campground and drink beer or something. Who knows? All I know is I can't wait to get going on Friday morning!!!! :D

what about doing chloride city trail after the club run on Sat? I figure we should have time for anyone who wants something a bit more challenging than Titus. I've been about 3/4 the way up but never to the end. I guess there's a great view of the valley from up there. I also hope we get to run thru the racetrack and Lippencott as planned on Fri. That would be cool.

Hey Steve, that might just be a really good idea. I still have my tracks through there and I'd be more than happy to lead the way. I've been up on top of Chloride Cliffs and through all the mining areas. It's an awesome view. I'd be up for it. I just have to add the tracks on my GPS map that I just installed on my GPS, but that should be no problem.

Yeah, it's relatively close to the exit from Titus and I was also thinking maybe we could do sunset up there and return as a night run. There should be a full moon coming up. If people are spooked by the cliffs and drop offs at night we can just go out the back way which I hear is pretty easy with no drop offs. I think it comes out on the road near Rhyolite and the Titus entrance right?

Do we have a head count? Is it 10 on Friday night? 6 tents? Just wondering. I don't want to be short of Burgers and Dogs. I'll be up until 3am getting ready for this. I still have to work at Sam's until 7pm then go get food, come home and pack everything. Dang. I'll make it though. Done more on less sleep than I'll be getting.

Al, do you want to meet at the Dunn-Edwards on Tropicana around 6:15-6:30am? Then roll up to the meeting spot on Ann? Post up and let me know.

Got to go mount some tires!!! Yuck!!

Head count: I'll be 1 on Fri night and maybe another on Sat.
Joe, I have a couple extra onions for burgers and probably too much carne for Sat breakfast so we can use what's left for dinner Sat night as well as the burgers.

Yeah, that's right!! My bad. I got home from the casino and was getting ready for Sam's and I was just firing off a few emails and I guess I just wasn't thinking straight.

Hey Steve, I didn't even think of onions or any other veggies for the burgers. I just bought cheese and buns. :D If you have anything else that you'd like on your burger or dog, bring it along. I don't think I'll have enough room in my cooler for everything. :( I'll just have to make due. I did get ketchup, mustard, and relish, too.

I still have to run to the grocery store for a few other things and ICE, I forgot ice at Sam's Club. It's hard to beat the price for 20lb bags. Oh, well!!
