I'm in Phoenix this week so can't make the run.....but I am hooking up with a jeep club here on saturday and we are doing Box Canyon. Won't be the same not being with the backroaders but should be fun. Something new.

You guys be safe, see you on the next run.

Thanks Greg I'm liking it to. And looking forward to driving it again.
Bought it last Sunday in so cal. Drove it home then flew to grand rapids Monday.
Elisabeth has been driving it to and from work all week. She loves it.
I'm flying home this (Friday am) morning. Just in time to transfer the gear over and prep for tomorrow

So this trail is the same as the ones known as "Electric Avenue" and The "Powerline" Trail? (both the same trail)

I'd post a picture of the view from the powerline road, but why spoil it for those who haven't done it before. Now Eagle Wash is another story. It is totally optional, but fun to go through. As you can tell from the pics below. It's actually easier than it appears.

We haven't been out in a while. Hope you don't mind if we join you. Me and my father-in-law will be there with my kids. I'm driving a white 4 door rubicon.

I went through there not too long ago and there has been some rock stacking.

It does look tougher than it is.

Funny you said that Taz, that is exactly what I said when we got there today. Someone built a road. Still fun and a little harder for those who didn't have the height clearance, but everyone made it up one way or the other. Some with a little banging on the skids and one taco'd rear shock...still don't know how that happened. Yet others w/open-open, hanging on the right side. Fun day!!!

Thanks Mike for leading us today and getting us out on the trail. It was good seeing familiar faces and meeting new people. I hope they come out again and we didn't scare them away... :P

Jaz is beat and has been snoozing since we got home. Me? I'm tired but have too many things to do. I'll have pictures up soon and I'll post them in this thread for those interested in viewing them. My newer camera is not working so I had to break out the older one. I hope some of the pics came out good anyway.

Until next time!! Thanks to all who came out and made this such a fun run!!!! See you all on the trails soon!!!!

Here's the pics I took of the day...meant to put the link on last night, but forgot...I was too tired and couldn't think straight... :P

But, here they are!!
Just click the pic...

Thanks for coming everyone it was fun.
Great pics joe. Thanks for your help.

Pics and Video can be found here (4 cameras + 3 People = a ton of pics)
Image

Like always they have been enhanced, and compressed for the web. If you want them raw unedited ful size just let me know which ones and I can email/upload/or burn you a disc.

The videos are compressed by webshots. They look much better in their original mpg format before uploading. If you want the video just let me know as well.

Thanks again everybody and I hope we are all on the trail together again soon

Mike
