I just wanted to say how thankful I am for this club and the hard work of the members. Yesterday I was out playing in my jeep up around Harris Springs road, and saw a road I'd never been on, so I thought I would check it out. As i headed up this road it started getting a little rougher than I wanted to be on by myself, so I turned around and was heading back out, I parked and let the dogs out, I turned around and looked back up the mountain and saw someone frantically waving a cloth to get my attention. I loaded up the dogs and head to them. When I got there, I saw their rig (Excrusion) had slid off the road about 10 feet. I knew that my little stock jeep was NOT going to pull them out. So I called Brad, he was the only number I had in my phone.....I was lucky to be to get a signal, Brad called Bob and within in one hour 4 jeeps and one Hummer showed up to help these strangers. I'm in such awww how kind and helpful our group is. Tammy and Joe were there in their Hummer, they belong to Vegas Valley club they dropped everything they were doing and showed up to help also
Thank you Bob Shirely, ED Ducan, Tammy, Joe. Two other Rigs showed up, one had fuel pump problems and left before I could get their name, and one other person showed up as we were heading out, didn't get his name either, again Thank you so much. I know the couple in the Excrusion , Samatha and Ray are very thankul too.
WHAT A GREAT CLUB WE HAVE!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH

Actually, Marla, everyone who showed up Bill (fuel pump problems) and Deven (in the red Jeep) are all Backroaders members. Even Tammy. Joe is just guilty of being a member by association with Tammy. It is amazing how quickly we all responded to a call for help.

This is a good reason why one should never go out alone. Or at the very least, let someone know where you are going and when you should be back.
