anyone interested in Pine Nut Canyon off of Mormon Well?. there is shade and a little elevation for lunch or check out the top campground for lunch and some pine tree appreciation.
meet at corn creek visitor center at 9am. gas is cheaper at the reservation mini-quik stop for us on a budget.

if i was down there you know i'd go with you. but we're going out tomorrow to put the finishing touches on a brand spanking new trail for july.

spent the day hiking bristlecone trail on charleston. hike evolved monday night when i canceled the jeep run. the trail was 6 miles total and it was time well spent. haven't used the hiking boots since the jeep was purchased.
saw a couple of trails off of Lee Canyon, #560 along deer creek and one at 6000 ft elevation in back of The Sisters or Macks Canyon. the jeep still needs a day out of the garage.
Anyone been up there?
Otherwise, will plan to check it out on Friday 6/27 or Tuesday 7/1. The elevation temps are a lot better than valley floor.
