checking out a route by Caliente'
an EMT student i precepted gave me a map of locals favorites. there is petroglyphs and an ampitheater i want to explore between calinte' and the "schoolhouse"
meet at 0830 at I-15 truckstop, petro, and roll by 9am.
bring lunch, may come back thru Carp to I-15.
haven't been out this way since last fall. could be boring or really interesting...

the trail repair stories just keep getting better.
who knew that baling wire, ratchet straps and a leather man, in dave goodman's capable hands, would get tom home.
we were miles away from I-15 and his tire looked like a drunken sailor wobbling toward the docks after the tavern closed.
hope wien's has a trail repair discount.
looking forward to next tuesday's adventure.
