planning on running up to Potosi Mine.
Number 13 in Mitchell's Great Basin Trails, volume 1
meet at chevron station at 160 and 159 intersection at 9am, roll by 930-ish.
if you are running late, my cell is 286-3873.
have friends from work who are teetering on buying a jeep riding shotgun.
hope to topple them in the just-eats-every-paycheck 12 step program.
#1. buy a jeep.....
weather should be great, hope to visit goodsprings or sandy valley on the way out.

air time, good.
busting hole in sidewall, not so good.
not finding key for lug lock on spare, worse.
3A tow card, better.
thanks for your spare rex.
was able to get back to pavement to meet tow truck. Got to Wien's off-road to change tire out and replace lugs that will come off when necessary.
the new tool to obtain: the "airing-down-thingy".
had fun until gravity took control.
my friend from work had the best time. his car was waiting for him at gas station with all tires intact.
one more jeep story in the archives.

i'll bet the key for the wheel locks is somewhere close to that 10 amp fuse we couldn't find a couple years ago. 8)

looked thru console, glove box and both door cubby holes.
found all kinds of neat stuff.
no key for lug.
gotta replace the craftsman deep socket we took the mallet to when we tried to Knepp It. it cracked.
a good time was had by all, and Wien's honored the tire warrenty so i was able to buy a round of Boddington's ale for my mechanics.
