good run to test the flares.
the road has really degraded sine last trip with mike and his full sized dodge p/u.
the bighorn herd was an added plus.
thanks to rex and shirley for a great day.

It was much rougher than when I ran it about 5 years ago. Back then I had 28" stock tires and a totally stock rig. And made it easily! Wouldn't try it in a Stock Jeep today.

The herd of Big Horn Sheep was AWSOME!
Thanks Rex and Shirley. Great time.

Wendy and Buck had occasion to go down to Burro Wash a few months ago to run a communications/checkpoint for the Desert Winds event.

Bad trip, didn't make it all the way to the water, lost a tire and bent a rim on the GC.

Odd, because back in '05 we went down Burro Wash on our first Club Run in an ancient, wheezing, dead-stock '85 4Runner on street tires with almost no aggravation.

Since then (Desert Winds) I have suspected that, despite having a map and a GPS, we were...I hate to say it...LOST.

Now I know that, in fact, the road is screwed up.
